Bittersweet
Welp. Part of my suffering is over. The 6'x10' rug has sold out. And guess what? Even though I would love to have had that rug, I'm still doing alright.
I'm sorry, friend. The pain will still be fresh for a while. But eventually you won't think about it so much. And maybe there will even be another rug that will make you even happier.
I just has a similar experience with curtains. It's funny how attached one can get to the idea of a thing without ever even having it.
Ooh, I have the perfect fix for your depression. Two words: Gerard Butler. Watching him always makes me feel better. :D Sorry about your loss, shall I send a sympathy card? :) There will be other sales, my dear. And I like Audrey's idea of Frosty's!!!!
I'm afraid to find their website for fear I might like something there. I've really been in the re-decorating mood as well. It is so easy to feel like you need non-essential things, and having a burning desire for them... I can't look.
